There are two reasons why I prefer using a three finger double tap as opposed
to the triple click of the home button to turn off speech.
First, by turning voice over completely off, you are also changing the phone's
gestures. I have a tendency to accidently hit buttons while in the normal mode,
so I prefer the safety of the voice over gestures.
And second, triple clicking the home button puts extra wear and tear on the
iPhone's hardware. I have already spent seventy five dollars getting the sleep
button repaired, so I rather use the touch screen when possible.
Just my opinion.
