Hi all. My guess off the top would be that you can't do this, but I thought I'd ask. I don't have anyone around who can help me figure this out on my own. So here goes. If you are in a situation where you want to pair a Braille display with an iPad or iPhone, but let's say that you are doing this remotely over the phone and the person who will be doing this is sighted, can this be done without Voice Over running? I'm in a situation where a client of mine isn't comfortable enough with the iPad just yet but wants to pair the Braille display with it. So, he's having someone sighted help. This sighted person isn't very tech comfortable, but can do regular gestures and has her own iPhone in fact, but knows nothing about Voice Over. So, I figured that if I can walk her through pairing the display with the iPad without Voice Over running, I wouldn't have to do on the spot training of Voice Over. If it can't be done, then of course I'll do that, but I was trying to avoid extra work.

Thanks much.
