Thank you, You're a credible source, and I can obviously now confirm this fact. Had I followed my intuition and waited a little longer, I would have saved myself some unnecessary frustration. To be clear, the simultaneous press of the Sleep button and Home button on an IOS device is comparable to pressing and holding the power button to force a shut down on a Windows computer, right?
