So long as one uses good technique for capturing the image, I expect OCR recognition to significantly improve for two reasons: the additional led will give better lighting for the camera, and the wide-angle aperture will give greater area coverage at the same distance. The A7 64 bit processor will increase OCR processing speed.
All that said, it will still be necessary that one has a steady and still hand when taking the picture, and that the page be as close to 90 degrees as possible. Jitter (camera shaking), skew (text at angle off true vertical), and shading (shadows cast by light / not enough light / too much direct light, are the factors which cause difficulty for blind people to capture images which are clear enough for OCR. I use my iPhone 5 for OCR daily to very good effect. when I am able to combine it with the StandScan Pro, my OCR is almost always just about perfect.
