Hi,
I had the same issue.  The badge said 7 updates but, when I opened the app
store and went to the updates tab, it showed no updates.  I checked and my
automatic updates is turned off so it should not have automatically done the
updates.  Strange.

I had the same problem myself. I cspecifically held off on the updates for
the Kindle app as well as the YouPlayer app since I wanted to check and
confirm whether any accessibility-related bugs had come up as a result of
the updates. The badge for my App Store said 2 new items, and when I opened
the App Store, the Updates tab first said 5 updates, then switched to no
updates at all.
Now the screen says all apps are up to date.
Probably an App Store glitch?
