I think the Apps Store is having issues and will continue to do so until
the
crush from iOS 7 and its latest iteration wanes. Once again, the Apps
Store
shows no upgrade badge number on my iPhone 5 even though at last count
with
no upgrades initiated by me, I had 46 apps with upgrades available.

I am still having this issue, Whenever I go to the app store it will say
I
have 19 items, so I will go to updates, and nothing is there not even
anything telling me that all my apps are up to date, then I tried
searching
for something and downloading it thinking maybe the app store wasn't
working, and it did say could not connect to app store, so I rebooted my
phone and it will let me download apps now but not update existing ones
still, maybe I will try it on a non busy part of the day to see what that
will do.

Crush was RE: app store issue
As I had written last evening, just about the same thing happened to me.
I
thought that that it was due to having clicked on "not now," when I was
given the choice to automatically update all apps. Well, this morning,
when
I powered on my iPad and went to the app store, I was presented with
about
15 or so apps that could be updated. I did update all of them. I then
began to think that, as you said, it must have been a server issue
yesterday
that was causing all of this strange behavior.

Crush
was RE: app store issue
During most of yesterday, my Apps Store badge with the number of
upgrades
went from 44 to nothing even though I had not upgraded anything. When I
opened the Apps Store, I was told all apps were updated. This strange
behavior apparently had something to do with the server crush related to
the
release of iOS 7. Today my Apps Store badge once again says 44 updates
available.
I've found patience and a wait and see attitude work much better for me
as
far as new computer and phone operating systems are concerned.

Hi,
I had the same issue. The badge said 7 updates but, when I opened the
app
store and went to the updates tab, it showed no updates. I checked and
my
automatic updates is turned off so it should not have automatically done
the
updates. Strange.
Thanks,

I had the same problem myself. I cspecifically held off on the updates
for
the Kindle app as well as the YouPlayer app since I wanted to check and
confirm whether any accessibility-related bugs had come up as a result
of
the updates. The badge for my App Store said 2 new items, and when I
opened
the App Store, the Updates tab first said 5 updates, then switched to no
updates at all.
Now the screen says all apps are up to date.
Probably an App Store glitch?

I saw the same problem earlier today. I think it's just that the
servers are bogged down.

Hi again,
This relates to my previous post about not being able to update to
ios7, the ap store says I have some new items but yet when I go into
updates it says all my apps are up to date. I know for a fact I have
updates because I did not update Iheart radio do to the accessibility
issue.
Anyone know what's going on?
