I'm wondering what exactly people are having trouble with in the new calendar?

I do personally have things I'd like to see done a bit differently but
depending on what you're after, here are a few tips.

When you open the calendar, the day you have selected will automatically be the
one shown, so that you can very quickly look through everything you have on
that day.

the Today button at the bottom moves you to Today immediately, but you can
select from the current week (by default) from the days at the top of the
screen.

YOu can advance by week by doing a three-finger swipe from right to left and
move to the previous week by doing a three-finger swipe from left to right.

When you have an event at a particular time during the day, you can double-tap
on that event and it's details will come up and you can edit some of these as
well as bring up the Contact (if any) that invited you, directly, so that you
can immediately call / text / FaceTime etc them.

.

Does any of this help, or is all of this old news? :)

Hope you're having a great day and talk with y'all soon!

Smiles,

Cara :)

The new calendar format has been one of the biggest drawbacks for me
with ios7. My solution, and it isn't 100% satisfactory, was to
purchase VO Calendar and use it instead. The app is ten dollars and
the layout is a bit odd, but it's easier to manage than the native
calendar layout. Also, when you install it, it will ask if it can
access your calendar, Say ok and all your appointments will be copied
into the VO calendar.

Wish I had a better solution, but there you go.
