Sherry, if you push the power button in and hold it for a count of four, 1 2
3 4 this will help you. However if you are still experiencing delinquent
behaviors you might consider emptying out the app switcher where apps which
you have used over time are.

Subject: a really really dumb question
Hi,
I have an iPhone 5 and still running IOS 6. The last couple days, my phone
has been acting weird, voice over saying things for no reason, siri not
working. I was thinking of power cycling it, but honestly, I've never once
turned it off since I got it. with my 3GS it was such a pain because I
never
knew how long to hold the power button to be sure it was powering back on,
since there was no audio feedback or vibration or anything to know it was
booting up.
So is there a reset I can try? or if I should power it off and back on,
approximately how long should I hold the power button and how long till
the
phones boots up?

I'm flying high, defying gravity,
And nobody is ever gonna bring me down!"
DEFYING GRAVITY--wicked
