I did update through iTunes. I like doing it that way better, mostly
because I have more than 5 gigs of data and don't want to pay for extra
iCloud storage for the backup. Anyway, how do I locate and restore the
backup of IOS6? It seems that it would be as simple as just restoring
from
the previous backup but, from the comments of others on the list, I guess
not. I would appreciate any info that you can provide.

If you update your phone through iTunes, there is a copy of your OS on

However, for future reference, whether or not you back up your phone, as
long as you update your phone's software using iTunes, you'll have a copy

your OS on your system, so you can restore to it, should you need.
