Hi, John. As noted in another message, my messages app is just above the home button. If I tap and hold, it wants to move the icons in the doc. It would still be faster to just touch the top of the screen and then do the three finger swipe up<grin>. The problem as I see it is this method isn't reliable enough to get 100 percent accuracy.
