Hi all, especially AT&T users with an iPhone 5 or higher,

This may seem like a stupid question, but I always tell my students that the
only stupid questions are the ones that aren't asked. So here goes. I've used
an iPhone 4 on AT&T for 2 and a half years with either wi-fi or 3g, and now
that I've had my 5S on AT&T for a couple of weeks now, I'm curious about
something. When I'm not connected to wi-fi and am out and about, sometimes my
status bar will say 4g, and other times it will say LTE. Is there a difference
between the two? What's 4g all about versus LTE, and why would I see one versus
the other?

Thanks,

Tom
