Hi Anthony,

They did change the rules, but any company has the right to do so. I have a
retail business and if I sell a pair of binoculars for $200 because when I
bought it a few months before I paid $150 and that is sufficient margin for me
but now suddenly the price of the same model went up to $170 because maybe of
the exchange rate and a price increase by the manufacturer then of course I
will have to raise my price not only y the $20 more that I pay but by about
$30. A Customer might have seen the binocular for $200 and now, a week later,
he comes in and it's $230 you could also say I am changing the rules mid
stream. But the fact is that if my cost has gone up it is my right to do so. At
the same time I have and will continue to drop prices on product where my cost
goes down and I often ask customers who complain when something is more
expensive whether they would want me to leave the price where it is if a
product drops in price. Of course everybody thinks it is of course fair to drop
the price but most have a big problem if the price goes up.

I think it would have been better if Tap Tap See had charged from day 1, then a
price increase would just be that, now going from free to paid it seems for a
few that is considered totally unfair. Fortunately it is only a few and I am
happy for once to see that themajority of people do see the value of the app
and are willing to pay for it.

Could Tap Tap See have announced this? Yes, they could have started a months or
2 ago and put out an announcement on their website that due to the cost of
image recognition they could no longer provide the service for free. Some would
have seen that and for some it would have still come out of left field as you
called it. There is nothing unethical or sneaky about what they did and once
the discussion started Tap Tap See was nothing but involved and upfront about
explaining what is going on.

Regards,
Sieghard

I don't think the issue is payment.
The issue is changing the rules in mid stream.

∫ people haven't beeen entirely truthful.

Consider this, if they changed the rules namece -pletely out of' left field
field, they most certainly do it again.

I wouldn't gile ∫ people the sweet off my eyebrows.
