I don't get the first point. I would imagine most companies don't segregate their revenue so that the revenue from a given product only goes against the maintenance, support and development of that product. I assume any revenue a company brings in could go against any of their product lines or their business costs. For example, when I bought an iPhone, I didn't look across all of Apple's products and say to myself, I don't think I'm ever going to buy an Apple TV, and I don't want any money I'm using to buy this iPhone to be used for Apple TV development, so I'll pass on buying an iPhone. Instead, I look at the product or service and the price and decide if it's worth my money or not. I admire the transparency in this case, but most companies aren't that transparent when it comes to their revenue and product lines.

I won't be buying it only because, 1. I feel like the funds are going for an app I'll never use.

It's not fair for us, as an IPhone community to pay for an Android based app. That's something you should be finding other ways to fund it, not by using your current Apple based app to do so, I think that's wrong. . 2. I think that paying for a product like yours should be accurate, and every time I've tried to take a picture of, for example, the thermostat to see exactly what the temp is set to, all it gives me is the temp inside the house, not the one that the thermostat is set to. Or when I take a picture of say, a bottle of creamer to see if it's the kind of creamer I have instead of the kind my sister drinks I couldn't get Tap Tap See to tell me that either and I did move the bottle around and around to find the label. No luck!

Those are my thoughts on the matter.

Arnold,

The subscriptions are being introduced over the next few days. We offer two options. Option 1) 100 Picture Pack for $7.99 with no time limit. Option 2) 1 Month of Unlimited Pictures for $9.99. The purchase is done through your Apple iTunes account. If you choose, for example, the 1 month unlimited pack, then you will be prompted with a message to renew after that time period runs out. Same goes for the 100 picture pack.

Best Wishes,

TapTapSee

I have not been reading this thread, being that I had not accessed Tap Tap
See in quite a while, although I very much like it and have kept it on my
phone. After reading some in this thread, I accessed it earlier today,
after reading about its becoming a subscription service, to find out how
much it costs. There was nothing in it about needing to pay a fee to use it now. Please let me know the details about the subscription service and when
it begins. Thanks in advance for any information.
