This really could help you with these camera apps. I am thinking, particularly, of your problem finding barcodes. Having the phone in a fixed position and just moving the item inside the box is a really much easier way of finding a bar code. I don't normally like to suggest to people to spend out more money formore things, but in this case I feel sure you would benefit from it. And one last point, as far as I'm aware, you never can feel a bar code. They are merely printed impressions and are never tactile.
