If you double tap on a text message conversation the action rotor should
automatically be selected. If so, flicking down with one finger will select
"More". You can now double tap and this is basically the same as tapping
"Edit" in iOS 6.
You now have a "Clear All" button at the top left of the screen which allows
you to delete all messages in that conversation without actually deleteing
the conversation itself.
You can also double tap any messages in the conversation and Voiceover will
say "selected".
If you have selected one or more messages in this way you can now turn the
rotor to Edit, then flick down with one finger to "Copy". Now double tap and
the messages you had selected will be copied to the clipboard and you can
paste them into an email, a Note or other app.

Sieghard

I've never had the edit rotor option come up in a text message conversation.
I can't even seem to use the gesture to select text in a conversation. It
just won't select anything.

Thanks,
Ari
