Hello, I totally agree with Ann. Even though I have light perception, the accuracy of using either Prizmo or Text Grabber with the StandScan pro will give one the structure of where to place the phone to get the best results. I used it today and had no problems scanning over 50 pieces of documents trying to get ready for taxes. With the LED lights built into the StandScan, it takes the guess work out of not having enough light or casting a shadow. If you are seriously thinking about scanning lots of stuff, this is the way to go. HTH.
