Hello Chris, Whether it's worth it or not depends on your personal circumstances. If you can get good results free hand, you probably don't need the StandScan Pro, but if you struggle with taking good pictures, it's definitely worth it. After all, the StandScan Pro is considerably cheaper than a flatbed scanner.
