Agreed, I sold all bt keyboards in favour of mBraille, whether charging or not. Also, I'm still on ios 6.1.3 or something, since all the flack about bugs; 7.1 is more tempting, but wait for the flack to die down first and I know where the main pitfalls lay. so thank everybody for all this, I hate flaky technology when I depend on it to do what it's meant to - a little bit reliably is more use than tons that isn't.
