Hi Rebecca, It's early morning and I'm still in bed. Even though I have set the layout in away mode, I have the phone in landscame mode and laying flat. I make sure that I have good alignment of my fingers and I just slow down a tinged. However, Robert gave a excellent work around that you could try. I'm still using iOS 7.0.6. I try to stay with something that works until I'm force to upgrade for some reason. HTH.
