A couple comments on this microphone.
One thing I didn’t like about this microphone is that you needed to use headphones when you were using it because voiceover no longer comes from the phone or iPad speaker, but from the headphone connection on the microphone. I wanted something I could just slap on the phone and go, but having to always have headphones around was a bother for me. Also, I have owned two of these and they have both been returned. They occasionally made popping noises. It is quite possible that even though I was using it with the bottom of my case cut off so the microphone was as snug a fit as it could be, that there was some interruption of the signal because the lightning connecter seemed quite short. I’m not sure that this is the reason, but it would be nice to see what they have come up with as an adapter. But again, there is the need for headphones, which sometimes you would want and other tines not. An option to either play through headphones or speaker would be nice. They know it does not work with cases like the Otterbox Defender. They also know it does not work with extension cables. The last line in their note said that an accessory may be coming down the line to resolve this.
