Hello, all. It is completely possible to run a virtual Windows machine
on a Mac, which would give you both possibilities if needed. Not to
get into the midst of an argument, but I am hearing a lot of what Alex
says - that stability on the Mac and with VoiceOver is significantly
better than Windows and screen readers.

I just got a Mac a month ago and am, as I write this, having a virtual
Windows machine installed. Only you can make the decision that is best
for you, Haya, but I will say that I am extremely (underline
extremely) impressed with the Mac.

There are great training options out there. If you would like more
information, email me off-list.

The great thing is that each of us now has a choice, and we can, after
researching thoroughly, make the decision that is best for us
individually. Several of us on this list can remember the days where
such choices did not exist. No one is completely right or wrong, and,
of course, there will never be the perfect operating system and
perfect screen reader. So we analyze what we have to do, the strengths
and weaknesses of both platforms, and take a leap of faith into what
appears to be the best decision for us individually.

Good luck with your decision-making, Haya.

Keith
