This sounds like an "I can top this" statement, but I was reminded of what I 
do. I use a Braille display and keep my iPod in my bag, so it's invisible. 
Since the Braille display has no lights or screen, what I'm doing with it is 
completely off the visual spectrum, though rarely, some folks will ask me if 
I'm using a Braille display or if I'm reading something. That's prejtz astute, 
and those folks show enough interest that I'm willing to tell them more about 
it.
