Yes, it's accessible. I haven't used the Maps app from Apple in quite a
while, so I'm not sure what advantages you have in Google Maps over the
Maps app from Apple.
When I originally looked at the Maps app from Apple, I couldn't enter a
destination except by address. With Google Maps, I can just type the
name of a location and then select the one I want from a list. I also
save popular destinations to my profile and then I can just select them
from there. I assume Apple Maps has these features, and it was just user
ignorance on my part.
Google Maps will also store your route locally on your phone. You'll
need an internet connection to download it originally, but if you end up
driving through an area with no coverage, as I did last weekend, you
still get turn by turn directions. I'm not sure if Apple Maps has this
feature or not.
Finally, I just find Google Maps to have a simpler more intuitive
interface. Again, that could just be what I'm used to though, and it's
definitely subjective.
Both apps are free, so there's no issue with having both on your phone
and giving each a try.

Hi friends,
A friend told me about Google MAPS which is a free application for the
IPhone.
Is it accessible and does it have any advantages over the Apple MAPS
application please?
