I got this error message for a while while charging my iPhone 5, but if I flipped the charger connector over and plugged it in the other way, it charged just fine. I surmise that some dust got in there and queered the connection. Since then, it cleared itself up and I haven't gotten the message for a while now. I take extremely good care of my stuff almost to the point of being OCD so I'm concerned that this message is starting to occur too frequently.
