Hi all,

I ended up restoring my phone in iTunes then restoring from a backup, and the
problem was still not resolved. Then I tried resetting my settings by using
Settings>General>Reset>Reset all settings. This resolved the problem, so it
would seem that my preferences became corrupt somehow. In any case, at least
none of my data was lost, and I am now up and running. After performing the
backup and before restoring my phone, I did try a force reset and this did not
resolve the problem. Thanks all for the suggestions.

Cheers,

Grant
