It's pretty much a certainty to say that they will be around soon enough although it also sounds as if especially the iPhone 6 Plus won't require one so badly since it has such a massiv battery. Many things like 3G talk time, audio playback and so on are rated as twice as long or more than those of the 5S. I heard it will have a 2900 MAH battery which once again is just shy of twice the capacity of the iPhone 5S battery. One must also keep in mind that even though the iPhone 6 Plus is ever so slightly thinner than the 5S, it's already a relatively large phone and of course a battery case would have to be larger to provide an adequate charge for such a large battery, so in a battery case the 6 Plus would probably be rather clunky.
