I can try that again, though I already did without any different result. My phone is also very sluggish with touch typing and moving around the screen. I should say that VO is sluggish.

I would make sure you remove it from the app switcher first, then delete and reinstall and see if this fixes the problem. In the list of apps, find Money Reader and see if it is on or off. 3. If it is off, double tap to turn it on. This will let the app access the camera; it sounds like it might not have that permission right now.
