I have the $30 a month T-Mobile discount plan with unlimited text and
data. the data is capped at 5 gigs at 4G service. After that, it
drops down to EDGE service, two to three times as fast as dial up
connections. This can run the Seeing eye GPS app and get weather
forecasts from the weather app but not much else.

I rarely use more than a gig of data in a month and have never used
more than two gigs, even when downloading NLS books, streaming music,
and updating apps on cellular data and rarely connecting to WIFI.
