I've seen this as well to a certain degree in the App Store. If I double tap the search field and start to enter text, my key presses are not echoed like they usually are. The same sluggishness happens when I double tap the Clear Text button. Sometimes I can just hit it once but often I hit it twice before I hear the bonk sound of the text being cleared. Odd. Sounds like another possible bug.
