Like you, I also bought the app yesterday. Some interesting observations
for me was the fact that you have to choose between voice and audio
signal.
Both can not happen, but not a stopper for me though. What I would have
liked more is the fact that the audio signal chosen, would indicate the
real
hour, e.g. striking 8 times for 8 o'clock. This does not happen though,
so
if one were to choose only the audio signal for the hourly anouncement,
you
would not really know what the time is, unless you had the voice option
set
up for any other anouncements, like the half hour and so on. Another
interesting thing is that, if I set it up to go to sleep at 8 o'clock at
night, it will still anounce the half past 8 time slot, after which it
will
go to sleep. It's also interesting that the clock control is a different
voice from the one you can choose to anounce the hour. I have chosen the
male voice, and that particular one only works on the options you choose
to
let him speak, but not in the clock control option where you can actually
hear the time. It still is a nice app, in my opinion, especially as one
can
set the times for the clock to actually work, and also can silence it with
the do-not-disturb option under settings.
