Hi Tom,

If the internal storage folder doesn’t open automatically you can easily find
it. After you plug in your iPhone, go to Computer, under “portable devices”
look for your iPhone. On my laptop it’s the last thing in the list and it says
“Sieghard’s iPhone 5S” because that is how I called my iPhone. Anyhow, press
enter on that and you get a folder called “Internal Storage”. Open it and now
you get the folder “DCIM” which is pretty standard for most digital camera
image folders. Open it and you should see another folder which has 3 numbers
and some letters. In my case it is called “892ZLWLR”. Once I open that I am in
the list of all my picture with the familiar file names of “IMG_” followed by
4-digit consecutive numbers.

Regards,

Sieghard

Subject: Transferring photos and videos

On my Windows 7 machine I'm having a hard time finding the photos and videos on
my iPhone. In XP when I plugged in my iPhone the photos and videos shows up.
Now I have to go through several layers and it's hit and miss trying to locate
it. I can't seem to find them. It doesn't give me an obvious title. I see
something called DCIM, but I can't locate the photos and videos I want to
transfer. Using Windows Explorer for this. Any suggestions?
