I use control A, control C. I tried to copy the dialog, but it says no
text. I'll see if I can get one of my kids to read the code to me and
search for it that way.

Hi Tom,

I think sometimes a second folder is automatically setup maybe from an old
device or something like that. Are you using Control+A for select all and
then Control+C for copy or do you copy them individually? I am not sure why
you get this error, you can try and copy the error code by pulling the
information into the Jaws virtual viewer with the combination Jaws
Key+Alt+W, then you can copy the error code and you could paste it into the
Google search field and see if you find anything about it.

Keep in mind that you can't "Move" images from the iPhone with Control+X and
you also can't delete images, only copying is possible. If you want to
delete photos you have to do so from the Photos app on the iPhone.

Regards,

Sieghard

I get two of those files. One ends in zllo and the other is like yours and
that did show the photos. Now when I copy them it copies some of them and
then I get an error copying. The error code is something like 0X0000000.
Can't copy the info in the dialog box though. I'm getting closer. Now if I
could find out why I'm getting this error.

Hi Tom,

If the internal storage folder doesn't open automatically you can easily
find it. After you plug in your iPhone, go to Computer, under "portable
devices" look for your iPhone. On my laptop it's the last thing in the list
and it says "Sieghard's iPhone 5S" because that is how I called my iPhone.
Anyhow, press enter on that and you get a folder called "Internal Storage".
Open it and now you get the folder "DCIM" which is pretty standard for most
digital camera image folders. Open it and you should see another folder
which has 3 numbers and some letters. In my case it is called "892ZLWLR".
Once I open that I am in the list of all my picture with the familiar file
names of "IMG_" followed by 4-digit consecutive numbers.

Regards,

Sieghard

On my Windows 7 machine I'm having a hard time finding the photos and videos
on my iPhone. In XP when I plugged in my iPhone the photos and videos shows
up. Now I have to go through several layers and it's hit and miss trying to
locate it. I can't seem to find them. It doesn't give me an obvious title.
I see something called DCIM, but I can't locate the photos and videos I want
to transfer. Using Windows Explorer for this. Any suggestions?
