I recently listen to the today and iOS podcast and Rob was talking about a 
device called X print server. He says it is a little box that plugs into your 
network through ethernet. It has a USB port and some other connection so that 
you can connect any printer to this box.basically the idea of this box is that 
any printer that you connect to it whether the printer is network capable or 
not and whether the printer is Apple air print ready or not, by going through 
this box, it makes any printer air print capable. You can then use your iPhone 
or iPad or any other device to print in your network and it will use this 
printer. The device cost I think around $100.
