There is only one problem with the suggestion of more than one OCR engine. On the computer, OCR engines require quite a bit of processing power. They do not work on mobile platforms. Fine Reader on iOS is not the same OCR engine. It has been redeveloped to fit the lower requirements of mobile operating systems. I am not aware of any other OCR engines for mobile platforms.
