Hello, > Hi, I have the exact same problem.
You are writing to a very old thread so I doubt that the problem is "exact the same". It would be helpful to know the following info to be able to troubleshoot the issue effectively: 1. What VisualSVN Server version is installed on the sever machine? 2. What TortoiseSVN version is installed the Windows 7 machine? 3. Show us the exact and complete wording of the error. 4. Show us logged events in VisualSVN Server log. See "Where VisualSVN Server logs are stored": http://www.visualsvn.com/support/topic/00028/ > From my Mac, I can access the VisualSVN server just fine. > From my XP machine, likewise. > From my Windows 7 machine, I get a 405 error. > > However I only get this error when using Tortoise or SmartSVN. > I can browse the repository in Firefox from the same Win7 machine just fine. > > I use the latest versions of Tortoise and SmartSVN as of April 2014. > > Switching the Win7 firewall off doesn't help. > > My guess is that Win7 somehow interferes with the network communication on > some level. > > Whats funny is that this problem is only since recently. The very first clue: is there any antivirus application installed on your Windows 7 machine? I suggest temporarily *removing* it to see whether it changes the behavior or solves the issue. I'm emphasizing the *removing* part because some antiviruses still work even in disabled mode. -- With best regards, Pavel Lyalyakin VisualSVN Team -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "VisualSVN" group.
