Only because we have your product :) No other reason here. Almost
that way with VTAM too, BTW !

Subject: [VMESA-L] end of VSAM product on VM?

According to IBM: "VSE/VSAM for VM (5686-081) has been withdrawn from
marketing concurrently with VSE/ESA 2.7, i.e. it cannot be ordered
anymore, effective September 30, 2005.

Accordingly, the ordering of VSE/VSAM for VM (5686-081) within the
current SDO versions of z/VM 4.4 and z/VM 5.1 has been stopped
effectively by September 30, 2005.

VSE/VSAM for VM (5686-081) will not be available with next release z/VM
5.2.
VSE/VSAM for VM (5686-081) remains in service till February 28, 2007."

Isn't anyone else running VSAM applications on VM?
