A third (and equally good, IMHO) source of similar information is the
IBM zSeries Expos. I find them at least comparable to SHARE in quality
and content (and are often less overwhelming -- the pace is a little
less hectic), and many of the speakers are the same. 

One other advantage is that IBM Education credits can be used to pay for
zExpo attendance, and since IBM has been tending to throw handfuls of
those into deals recently, it may be less effort to convince your
management to use some of the credits on a trip to zExpo than on a
independent conference like SHARE.
