1) Change from RECFM F to RECFM V, truncating trailing blanks. and as long as I'm asking... 2) Change from RECFM V to RECFM, padding with trailing blanks. This question came up when using FTP to GET a RECFM F file from MVS, and wanting it to be RECFM V when written on VM (no need to take up more space than needed).
