I am very suprised that you have tapes this old. Even my VM/370 R6 (that is
the last free VM) only has VMFPLC2.

TRy the oprions others have suggested.

You might want to try converting the files to a pseudo tape (AWS or HET
format, tools to do this at www.cbttape.org) and then trying to load the
VMFPLC module to VM/370 under hercules on a PC and using it to restore the
tapes there....
