In looking over the Bourne shell version of Configure I'd say replace
them with "5_005" or simply apply the patch that I sent to the list a
bit earlier. It does not appear that you want ''version' in xs_apiversion
or pm_apiversion (although there is enough flexibility in patchlevel.h to
accomodate version being the same as the {xs|pm}_apiversion.
