Hi Dan, I saw that one already last night, and figured I could ignore it.
Dies was the wrong word (it did stop before it got to mms, but I think
that's my DCL). I was a bit concerned about the repeated:
Default set to sys_utility:[perl.vmsperl]
Warning: Executing in batch mode. To avoid file locking conflicts,
and then, at the end:
%DCL-W-UNDFIL, file has not been opened by DCL - check logical name
%Config-W-VMS, WARNING: There is a file still open
I went and took out the @configure "-des" line, since I had run it a few
times and figured I had iterated often enough and I could use any of the 2
or 3 descrip.mms files produced...
so, it's running now. Last night I also ran into an obscure protection
problem, so I'm reruning from the System account -- a nono, but it is
running now... (it's my fault, not perl's).
I'm too bleary-eyed to go on, but something strange happend when I tried the
MMS test; later.
Carl
