You can see the patch history for your system by doing: $ product show product/full vms Your perl -V shows you are on 7.2-1, which is a circa-1999 release and has had a lot of patches. 7.2-2 is the supported replacement for it and the final 7.2-x release. How does your test run look without a TEST logical name in your environment?
