Look in SYS$SCRATCH:PERLIO_<pid>.;*, SYS$SCRATCH:MD<pid>.SDBM_DIR;*
and you may see a lot of other files as well.  (I had to delete more than
2000 such
files this morning, but I've been doing a lot of vmsperl testing without
cleaning up in between).

Patches to tests for clean up would be very welcome.
