is anyone aware of a backdoor in realvnc? i believe my vnc server was
breached, but im not sure why or how. luckily i got to my computer,
*hopefully* in time and disabled the service. i changed the password (just
slightly) and reenabled, and to my surprise, the person is controlling my
mouse again. so i disable the service and change the password completely. now
he was talkign to me on msn messenger, seemed like he was someone one of my
friends knew. i enabled the service with the really obscure password, since he
thought he could get in again. but this time he couldnt. so im still boggled
whether he was using a backdoor built into the service or if he was using a
brute forcing utility or if he somehow found out what my password was and was
able to guess the variation of the password the second time he logged in. i
would like to be able to secure my box, so such things dont happen again.
thanks.

ted
