...and people with the answers to the questions *not* answered
in the documentation will stop reading the list if it becomes
full of questions which *are* answered in the FM.

RTFM is a valid response in many cases. For one thing, it
encourages others to do so before they ask a question, which
is a Good Thing. I think I got upset the first couple of times
I got that response. Then I grew a thicker skin and eventually
realised *why* I got that response.
