Actually I was hoping I didn't miss the info in the archives. :-)
Also in the Linux viewer you have to manually transfer the clipboard with
the F8 menu.

BlueCurve can be both KDE or Gnome, but defaults to Gnome

Since you mention Gnome, I'm going to assume GnomeTerminal.  Just testing
it here brings up some interesting things:

1) VNC has to be running when you do the copy from the source (which I
think is the case no matter which way you go).
2) The "Edit->Paste" menu doesn't seem to work.

Try using the middle mouse button (or both buttons if you don't have three
and "Emulate 3 buttons" is enabled in the viewer).  This is what I am in
the habit of doing and it works (full disclosure, this is running
GnomeTermial in a BlackBox session, not Gnome).

I don't have Star Office, but I can check OpenOffice for you when I get
home this evening.  Oddly enough the "Edit->Paste" menu doesn't seem to
work between an xterm and GnomeTerminal on the same machine....
