Actually I was hoping I didn't miss the info in the archives. :-) Also in the Linux viewer you have to manually transfer the clipboard with the F8 menu. > I'm using TightVNC server version 1.2.8 on a RedHat Linux 9.0 install as > my > server. Just testing it here brings up some interesting things: 1) VNC has to be running when you do the copy from the source (which I think is the case no matter which way you go). 2) The "Edit->Paste" menu doesn't seem to work. Try using the middle mouse button (or both buttons if you don't have three and "Emulate 3 buttons" is enabled in the viewer). This is what I am in the habit of doing and it works (full disclosure, this is running GnomeTermial in a BlackBox session, not Gnome). I don't have Star Office, but I can check OpenOffice for you when I get home this evening. Oddly enough the "Edit->Paste" menu doesn't seem to work between an xterm and GnomeTerminal on the same machine.... -- William Hooper _______________________________________________ VNC-List mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] To remove yourself from the list visit: http://www.realvnc.com/mailman/listinfo/vnc-list
