What is the IP address of the server machine. Is it the legal IP from the
ISP? The question is for understanding what your router is doing. If, you
have a private IP like 10.x.x.x, 192.168.x.x or 172.16-31.x.x then its
doing NAT. You need to do a port forward to make it work. What router do
you have?
