But by using VNC people do connect directly to your PC! Have you thought about installing a Windows SSH server on your firewall machine and using port forwarding/tunnelling? Clients would SSH into the firewall, and on their machine they would point the VNC browser to localhost:5900. I.e. you would be doing similar to http://www.uk.research.att.com/archive/vnc/sshvnc.html, only the linux component would be windows. If you just give people a read only password (as opposed to a read-write password; this exists in TightVNC nad the latest RealVNC beta I *think*), then you've got what you want?
