We use VNC that our users can access a LINUX cluster which is running
under RH 9. The viewers are running either under WINDOWS 98/NT/XP or
different distributions of LINUX (RH, Debian, SUSE). Mostly PS/2 mouse
device is used.

Sporadically mouse cursor is dead. You can move and see the mouse
pointer, but it has no effect. I tried to analyze the problem, but could
not find any error message neither in vnclog nor other system logs.
Restart the viewer doesn't help. It seems to happen always when the load
of the machine where Xvnc is running becomes rather high. There is no
possibility to recover such sessions, you have to stop Xvnc and restart
it.

Any idea to find the reason for this problem or better to solve the
problem?

Thanks in advance
