I never got a single reply to this question, so I'll try one more time. (I was new to the list and my address might not have been validated yet.) Any ideas what might be wrong?
When I try to connect from one PC to another, both of which are running XP SP2, VNC Free Edition 4.1.1, screen resolution at 1280 x 1048, if the host has a lot of graphics visible (such as viewing a picture), the viewer crashes if I connect at highest resolution. Viewer settings (taken from the saved .vnc file's Options section): [Options] UseLocalCursor=1 UseDesktopResize=1 FullScreen=1 FullColour=1 LowColourLevel=2 PreferredEncoding=ZRLE AutoSelect=1 Shared=0 SendPtrEvents=1 SendKeyEvents=1 SendCutText=1 AcceptCutText=1 Emulate3=1 PointerEventInterval=0 Monitor=\\.\DISPLAY1 MenuKey=F12 AutoReconnect=1 If I keep everything in the file the same, except change the FullColour value from 1 to 0, it doesn't crash. Is this a bug in the program? Something I can correct by way of changing configuration, without having to sacrifice anything (such as resolution, which I have to do by changing as above)? Thanks for any tips you can provide. _______________________________________________ VNC-List mailing list [email protected] To remove yourself from the list visit: http://www.realvnc.com/mailman/listinfo/vnc-list
